The Innkeeper of Abbeville, or The Ostler and the Robber is a drama, in two acts by Edward Fitzball (1792–1873)[1].

According to Larry Stephen Clifton (1993: p. 17)[2]) the play was first performed in the Theatre Royal, Norwich in 1820 and transferred to the Surrey Theatre in 1821. However the printed version give November 27th, 1826 as the first date of performance in the Surrey Theatre.

The text was printed by J. Dicks (Dicks' Standard Plays, no. 950), London, 182* and by J. Cumberland, London, 1831.
