The Flying Scud, or A Four-legged Fortune is a nautical melodrama by Dion Boucault (1820 or 1822-1890)[1].

Often simply called The Flying Scud.

Performance history in South Africa

1875: Performed in the Bijou Theatre on 17 July as Faust and Marguerite by Disney Roebuck and his company, with The Area Belle (Brough and Halliday).
