The Fires of Fate is a play in 4 acts by Arthur Conan Doyle (1859-1930)[1]

Subtitled "A Modern Morality Play".

An adaptation of the Arthur Conan Doyle's own short story "The Tragedy of the Korosko" (1897), the adaptation was first performed at the Lyric Theatre, London, on 15 June 1909. It later transferred to the Haymarket Theatre (12 to 31 August 1909) and the Lyric Theatre (6 September to 9 October 1909). First performed in the USA at the Illinois Theatre, Chicago, 1909 and New York’s Liberty Theatre in December 1909.
