The Fantasticks; book and lyrics by Tom Jones, music by Harvey Schmidt. This small-scale musical opened in the small off-Broadway Sullivan Street Playhouse on May 3rd, 1960.

UCT's The Fantasticks presented by University Theatre Stellenbosch at the H.B. Thom Theatre in April 1968, directed by Robert Mohr, starring Limpie Basson, Grethe-Maria Fox, Ralph Lawson, Peter Grobbelaar, Peter Uys, David Haynes, Janice Honeyman, Philip Graham.

Presented by PACT in the Breytenbach Theatre, 1972, with Eckard Rabe, Will Bernard, Frantz Dobrowsky, Marko van der Colff, Jan Engelen and Sue Kiel. Directed by Ken Leach.

PACOFS 1975, directed by Johan Bernard, starring Estelle de Waal, Elize Cawood, James Borthwick and others.
