The Duchess of Malfi is a tragic play (1615) by the English Jacobean dramatist John Webster [1] (1580-c. 1634). A passionate drama of love and intrigue in Renaissance Italy.

1979: The Space (Cape Town), directed by Peter Stevenson, starring Richard Carter, Carlos da Silva, John Dennison, Andrea Fine, Henry Goodman, Caroline Newby, Leon Potgieter, Clare Stopford, Duarte Sylwain, Leslee Udwin and a number of children. Designer: Vivienne Cartwright, lighting Nicholas Fine, sound and stage managers Shauna Johnson and Faruk Hoosain.
