The Courier (or Die Courier) is a newspaper published in Beaufort West since 1869 - it was the town's first newspaper.

Also called the Beaufort West Courier and even referred to as De Koerier by Dutch and Afrikaans readers and writers in earlier days.

A play called Oom Piet met syn Tand Pyn by "Domkrag" was published in De Koerier in Beaufort West on 27 November 1910.
