The play was adapted at least four times into feature films.

1978: Performed by Quince Productions, directed by Michael Howard (also starring as "Paul Jones") from 1 May to 1 July 1978 at the Brooke Theatre, Johannesburg, The cast also included Vivienne Drummond, Volente Bertotti, Diane Ridler, Robert Lang, Peter van Dissel, Terrick Fitzhugh, Stuart Parker, Brenda Wood, Bill Brewer.
