The Captain's not A-miss is a farce in one act by Thomas Egerton Wilks (1812-1854)[1]

Also found as Captain's not A-Miss, The Captain's not a Miss and so on.

The original text

First performed in the English Opera House, London, on 18 April, 1836 ; Laura Keene's Theatre New York in 1858.

Published in London by John Duncombe Vol xxi, Dicks Vol 914, and Thomas Hailes Lacy Vol xxix in 1836 and by Samuel French, [The Minor Drama, no CLIX, 1858?] in New York.
