The Bantu World

The Bantu World was a weekly newspaper aimed at the black population in Johannesburg [South Africa], published by Bantu Press Proprietary Ltd., [1932-1955]. Its sequels are The World and The Sowetan.

It carried reviews of entertainment and theatre. In the 1930s-1940s reviewers included W. Mbali, Walter Nhlapo, Herbert Dhlomo.
