Tess van Staden (19**-). Actress and producer.

Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance

Plays include Drie Susters (TRUK 1992), Crime Babies (Market Theatre), Antjie Krog's Waarom is dié wat voor toi-toi altyd so vet? (Why are those who toyi-toyi in front always so fat?) (1999), in which she performed as well as being the Executive Producer.

Film and TV work included Meester, Sterk Skemer (1999), Cry Me a Baby (1999) and Onder Draai die Duiwel Rond (1997).

She moved to the USA in 2007 to try to get into film. While there she acted in the play Fun Dogs and a Bone in Los Angeles.
