KAPP, Tertius. (19**-) Afrikaans poet, playwright, director, actor and producer. A founder member of Tart en Koggel Produksies. Studied at the University of Stellenbosch. Playtexts include Harmse (2006), Al Dobberend (“Floating”, Innibos, 2006), ** Sielsiek (“Mentally disturbed”, with Willem Anker, at Aardklop, 2006), * As producer responsible for Harmse, De Familie Wagenaer, Terre'Blanche and Willem Anker’s Skroothonde. As actor played Eugene Terre'Blanche, a cross-dressing french singer, Hendrik Wagenaer, Gert Breekyster and “Die Dwergreus” (the “dwarf-giant”) in Neels van Jaarsveld’s Wit Sneeutjie en die Dwergreus (“White Little Snow and the Dwarf-giant”)

He was awarded the Aardklop-Smeltkroesprys in 2011 for his drama Rooiland. His play Oorsee will be seen at Aardklop in 2013.

He was awarded the Hertzog Prize for his plays Rooiland and Oorsee in 2015.
