Her work in theatre, film and television is extensive and she is the recipient of numerous awards and nominations for her acting. In 1995 and 1996 she appeared in a number of exciting and diverse roles at the [[Baxter Theatre]], including Nora in ''[[A Doll's House]]'', the mother in ''[[Beautiful Thing]]'', a mentally disturbed nurse in ''[[Misery]]'' and some very strange Berkoff characters in ''[[Greek]]''.
