According to Lady Anne Barnard (cited by F.C.L. Bosman, 1928[1], p.61) a play by this name was performed in Cape Town in 1800. This is clearly a reference to Taste by Thomas Foote and is based on the leading character she refers to as "Lady Bentweazle".
