Durban. Organised by TECON at the Orient Hall, Durban in July 1972. The programme included The Coat, The Lahnee’s Pleasure, Encounter, Requiem for Brother X, Ode to the Black Man. SABTU was also founded there. The festival was repeated under SABTU’s name in Cape Town in December. (See SABTU Theatre Festival)
