HAARHOFF, Theodore Johannes (1892-1971) was a South African classicist. A founder member and former honorary president of the Classical Association of South Africa (CASA). Received his training in Classics at the Universities of Berlin, Oxford and Amsterdam. he was Chair of Classics at the University of the Witwatersrand from 1922 until his retirement in 1975.
