An English translation of Anton Chekhov's 1887 one-act play about an old actor who spends the night reminiscing about his life and career in an empty theatre.

Originally translated into English by Marian Fell and published in 1912 by Charles Scribner's Sons.

Translated as Swan Song: A Dramatic Sketch in One Act by Paul Schmidt, and published in his book Collected Plays of Anton Chekhov.
