Susan Coetzer (19**-) actress, artist, dramatist, writer and inspirational speaker /Actress and dramatist.

On occasion listed as Susan Coetzer-Opperman.

Biography

She studied at the University of Stellenbosch.

She was married to Frank Opperman and later to Philip Moolman.

She is also an established artist, having sold hundreds of oil paintings, exhibiting in many art galleries countrywide. As a writer, she contributes to various publications on a monthly basis, and has recently released her first novel : Oros vir die Siel. Since since 2002 she has been the co-owner of Die Blou Hond, a theatre restaurant and art gallery in Pretoria.

Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance

While a student at Stellenbosch, she participated in the 1978 USAT Dramafees, writing and directing an original play called Die Reëndag for the residences Eendrag and Erica.

She starred in Reza de Wet’s Diepe Grond together with Dawid Minnaar, Gys de Villiers and Doris Sihula under Lucille Gillwald’s direction at Upstairs at the Market in 1986.

Other productions include Die Sakeman van Venesië (PACT 1991), Die Mal Vrou van Chaillot, Panorama, Griet Skryf 'n Sprokie (1997).

TVG and film work included roles in
