Over the past two decades she has received numerous Vita- and Artes awards for best leading actress in stage and TV-productions such as ''Griet skryf ‘n sprokie'', ''Daizy de Melker'', ''Meester'' and more. She is also an established artist, having sold hundreds of oil paintings, exhibiting in many art galleries countrywide. As a writer, she contributes to various publications on a monthly basis, and has recently released her first novel : ''Oros vir die Siel''. Co-owner of Die Blou Hond restaurant/theatre since 2002.
