Later known as '''Sue Braatvedt'''. Opera singer, performer and singing teacher.  She was born in South Africa, and had ontained a B.A. (Hons) Degree in Music and Drama, a Dip. Arts in Music, and a Ph.D in Music Education. In South Africa she sang solo roles in opera and musical productions for all the four major arts organisations, the [[Natal Performing Arts Council]] ([[NAPAC]]); the [[Cape Performing Arts Board]] (''CAPAB''); the [[Performing Arts Council of the Orange Free State]] ([[PACOFS]]) and the [[Performing Arts Council of the Transvaal]] ([[PACT]]) - being contracted to the latter organisation as mezzo-soprano soloist for six years.  besides her acclaimed operatic performances, she also had a role in ''[[ Showboat]]'' for [[PACT]] (1985). In 1986 she emigrated to the United States, and later in 1997 moved to New Zealandand finally, in 2002, to Australia.
