Suig ("Suck") is a 2004 Afrikaans fantasy musical theatre piece by Gys de Villiers.

Subject

It is an epic "Lord of the Rings" - type musical journey, where four warriors from the land Krid are sent to overcome the enemy, Treb - a woman who has stolen the peoples' "wirr" (passion, creativity). The warriors are "Kaptein Amerika" the musician, the painter, "Hemelbewoner" the singer and "Sagaria suigsel" the writer. With their combined talents they are a force to be reckoned with and they set off to confront and overpower this "Treb" enemy. However along the way they become distracted and ultimately have to look deep within themselves for a new perspective and self-transformation to conquer this threat. (Artslink.co.za)
