Sue Robinson (circa 1927-2012). Medical doctor, patron of the arts in Cape Town.

She was born in Poland and she was the wife of the late Basil Robinson, owner of Ashbey’s, a well-known auction house in Cape Town.

She translated some Polish dramas into English (e.g. The House Under the Trees) and Afrikaans. The latter were performed in the Baxter Theatre, produced by Chris Pretorius.
