Sue Kiel (19**-). Actress.

Biography

She eventually settled in Los Angeles with her husband, photographer and filmmaker Norman Seeff [1].

Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance

Performed in The Fantasticks, Dr Faustus, The Nuns, Alice's Adventures Underground, Richard III, The Magnolia Tree, A Macbeth, Tartuffe, Kafka: The Trial, Woyzeck, People, Twelfth Night (as “Viola”), Show Me Yours... (for Barney Simon), Antigone, The Rocky Horror Show (as “Magenta”), Black Mikado, and in Story Theatre Second Edition.

She formed part of Mannie Manim and Barney Simon’s The Company together with Vanessa Cooke, Leonie Hofmeyr, David Eppel, Judith Cornell, Janice Honeyman, Aletta Bezuidenhout, Danny Keogh, Lindsay Reardon and John Oakley-Smith around 1974. She designed the costumes for their production of Cop-Out in 1974.

She starred in Grease together with Leonie Hofmeyr, Eckard Rabe, Bruce Millar and Danny Keogh at His Majesty's Theatre in 1977.
