Biography

She married a Durban newspaper critic, Roy Christie, in the early 1970s.

Career

Sue began performing professionally in cabaret in London and appeared on British television. She came to South Africa on a cabaret tour in the early 1970s and settled here.

Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance

Performed in Abie’s Irish Rose (as “Rose”), Basher’s Time Machine, and in Revues for Adam Leslie.

She starred in the Children's Theatre production of Jack and the Beanstalk together with Michael Brunner, Drummond Marais and Kevin Feather at the Intimate Theatre in July 1984, Stepping Out (1985).
