(Srini) (1946-) Journalist, cultural activist, writer. * Studied at the University of Durban-Westville. Became involved in theatre through his satirical sketch Black on White. One of the founding members of TECON in 1969. *** * Natal Regional Chairman of AZAPO, president of SABTU (1972-73). Banned in March 1973, detained in 1974 and sentenced to six years imprisonment . On his release in 1981 he returned to journalism, working for papers such as the Natal Witness. ***. Husband of Sam Moodley.
