Has directed many stage works, including a touring version of ''Camelot'' starring Rock Hudson. He directed the TV series ''Alice'' in 1976 and produced 1982 series ''Capitol''. Stockton Briggle [1] (1935-2014). American director.

Worked as an actor before becoming a stage and television producer and director. Has directed many stage works, including a touring version of Camelot starring Rock Hudson. He directed the TV series Alice in 1976 and produced 1982 series Capitol. Briggle also served as executive producer of such TV movies as The Alamo—Thirteen Days to Glory; Willing to Kill: The Texas Cheerleaders Story, Her Hidden Truth and Bridge to Silence. **

Came to South Africa in 1978 to direct a season of three plays for Pieter Toerien, consisting of Ira Levin’s Deathtrap, The Passion of Dracula and California Suite. He also directed The Academy Theatre production of Michael Frayn’s Clouds in 1979.
