Stian Bam

(19**-) Actor. Born in Walvisbaai, where his father and mother were teachers. Studied at the University of Stellenbosch Drama Department. Married a jeweller, Truda Serfontein, in 2009.

Stage roles include Bloeiende Lente (2005), Romeo and Julia (Vleis, Rys en Aartappels, 2005), Slaghuis (Anker, 2006), Die Storm (Shakespeare, 2007), Lang Dagreis na die Nag (2008 – Fleur du Cap Award), Saad (Vleis, Rys & Aartappels, 2008), Babbel (Nicola Hanekom, 2012), . Bos en Die vrou (2012),

Winner of several awards for his stage work, including the Fleur du Cap Award for Most Promising Student (2006) and best supporting and leading actor.

TV work includes leading roles in the popular soap Sewende Laan, Vallei van die sluiers and Fees van die Ongenooides (Feast of the Uninvited)
