Starting Here, Starting Now is a musical revue by Richard Maltby, Jr. (lyrics) and David Shire (music).

The original text

A musical revue celebrating the songs of love and despair, it first opened at the Manhattan Theatre Club in 1976, with Loni Ackerman, Margery Cohen and George Lee Andrews in the cast. It then moved to the Barbarann Theatre Restaurant, opening on 7 March 7, 1977 to run for 120 performances.

The original cast recording of the work was released by RCA Victor in 1977.
