Spring 1600 is a play by Welsh playwright Emlyn Williams (1905-1987)[1]

The original text

A play about the unrequited love of a runaway actress for Richard Burbage, the great actor manager. First produced Shaftesbury Theatre, London , 1934. Published by Heinemann.

Performance history in South Africa

Leonard Schach directed the play for the UCT Dramatic Society, June 1956 at the Little Theatre, starring Nicholas Wright. Décor by Cecil Pym.
