The Southern African Music Rights Organisation (better known by its acronym, SAMRO) is a South African intellectual property association.

Founded as the South African Music Rights Organisation in 19* by Gideon Roos to handle all issues pertaining to musical rights in South Africa on behalf of artists, producers and consumers.
