South Africa Plays is a collection of five South African plays, compiled and introduced by Stephen Gray.

First published by Nick Hern Books, London, in 1994.

The volume contains Somewhere on the Border by Anthony Akerman,The Hungry Earth by Maishe Maponya, Curl Up and Dye by Susan Pam, Over the Hill by Paul Slabolepsky and Just Like Home is a play by Pieter-Dirk Uys.
