A look at the family of a veteran of the Angola border war, a war that could not be won, and the effect it had on him and on his family and loved ones, it is described in the publicity pieces as "a thriller which takes the audience on a spine-chilling journey of puzzles, magic, ghosts, lost dreams and new promises"[1].

2001: First staged in The Laager at the Market Theatre 20 October - 24 November, as part of the Barney Simon Young Writers’ Festival, directed by Marguerite Albrecht, with Nicky Rebelo (Manfred), Antoinette Kellerman (Estelle), Amanda Lane (Hannah) and Neels Clasen (Pikkie).
