First staged in South Africa at the Market Theatre in 1996, directed by Clare Stopford, with Jennifer Steyn (as Kyra) and Ron Smerczak (as Tom).
The National Theatre (London) production starring Bill Nighy and Carey Mulligan was filmed and shown in cinemas in South Africa in 2014.
