Siegfried van Hohenwart is a five-act play by Marten Westerman (1775-1852)[1].

The original text

First published in Den Haag by J.C. Leeuwestyn in 1800. Later re-published by Van Kesteren.

Performance history in South Africa

1848: First performed by Hoop en Trouw on 24th November, 1848 in the Hope Street Theatre, Cape Town, with a " Divertissement" and Sans Quartier, of Het Vergenoegen overtreft den Rykdom ().
