ISRAELI, Shimon (1932- ) Polish-born Israeli actor and singer. He played the leading role, Tevye, in Taubie Kushlick's production of Fiddler on the Roof for African Consolidated Theatres at the Empire Theatre in 1969. (Tucker, 1997)
