First performed by the Actors From The London Stage (AFTLS) universiy project at the Notre Dame Shakespeare Festival in the autumn of 1979 and at the King's Head Theatre Club, London, on 15 January, 1980. Directed by Bill Homewood with Estelle Kohler (as Fanny Kemble) and Bill Homewood.
