Sgt Corbishley (17**-18*) was a British officer and amateur actor.

His contribution to South African theatre

A member of the Garrison Amateur Players, he appeared in Life, A Comedy (Reynolds) and The Irish Tutor (Glengall), performed in the African Theatre on 4 and 22 September 1824, as "Lord Duberly" in The Heir at Law and "Doctor Camphor" in Love, Law and Physic (African Theatre, 16 August, 1826). .
