Sello Motloung (19**-). Actor, musician.

Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance

Sello had roles in The Good Woman of Sharkville (1996 and on the UK tour in 1997), Mandla Langa’s musical Milestones (1999), Habitual (2000), The Necklace (as Joseph, 2004), Cold Stone Jug (2004), Cadre (Market Theatre 2013).

He appeared as Sam in a production of Master Harold and the boys during the Young Directors Festival at the Market Theatre in 1998.

He played Khokoloho in the Birmingham Repertory Theatre production of The Free State. (1997?).

He is the third South African actor to play the role of Neson Mandela in a movie after Atandwa Kani and Tumisho Masha. He portrays Mandela in the film An Act of Defiance, the story of Bram Fischer's defence of the Rivonia triallists.
