Selaelo Maredi (19**- ). South African theatre director and playwright.

He returned to South Africa in 1994 after fourteen years of exile in the United States.

He wrote (with Steve Friedman) and directed the satire Homeland in 1992, Blackage in 1995.

He became artistic director of the Market Theatre in 1997.
