He was born in Zimbabwe.

Studied at Rhodes University Drama Department.

As a student he directed a production of Berkoff's East in 2005.

Scott wrote and performed in The Performers Travel Guide (NAF 2006).

Performed in Women Beware Women (Little Theatre, 2007), The Merchant of Venice (as Bassanio, Maynardville 2008), Buried Child (2008), The Zoo Story (2008, 2009), Dario Fo's Elizabeth (Little Theatre, 2009), Decadence (2010), The Real Inspector Hound (2011), A Lie of the Mind (2011), Clybourne Park [1] (Fugard Theatre, 2016).
