Schout Papegaai (lit. "sheriff Parrot") is a Dutch comic sketch in one act by an anonymous author.

Written for the Rederijkers in the second half of the 19th century.

Performance history in South Africa

1872: Performed in Dutch as Schout Papegaai by Aurora II in the hall of the Germania Hall, Cape Town on 2 July, with Getrouwheid (De Jager). Described as a "scherts voor rederijkers".
