In South Africa his designs include District Six – The Musical (198*), Poison (199*), Kat and the Kings (199*, 2012), Exits and Entrances (Baxter Theatre, 2005), Coming Home , The Train Driver, The Bird Watchers (Fugard Theatre, ), Some Like it Vrot, Die Laaste Karretjiegraf (Fugard Theatre, 2013), The Shadow of the Hummingbird (Fugard Theatre, 2014).. District Six - Kanala, Orpheus in Africa, The Road to Mecca.

He won a Fleur du Cap for Best Set and/or Props Design for The Bird Watchers, award year 2012 and was nominated in the same category for Some Like it Vrot.
