Announced as "gemengd met Zamenspraken, Zang en Dans" ("mixed with dialogue, song and dance"), the text was originally written in French by Boniface.

South African performances
1815: First performed in Dutch by Honi Soit Qui Mal Y Pense in the African Theatre, Cape Town on Saturday 1 July, 1815, with music composed by Mr Lemming, dances choreographed by Mr Petersen. It was the first ballet performed in South Africa.
1815: Repeated by Honi Soit Qui Mal Y Pense on 4 July
1815: Repeated once more by Honi Soit Qui Mal Y Pense on 29 July, with De Verhinderde Dansparty, of Het Orchest Onder den Tafel (Barré and Ourry, tr Van Ray)
