Trained at the London Theatre School, furthered her studies at the Cape Academy of Dramatic Arts.

She worked with the Muswell Theatre Group in North London before returning to Cape Town.

She appeared in Beautiful Thing as Leah.

She was nominated both for a Fleur du Cap and a Vita Award as Best Supporting Actress, 1995-1996 for her role in Beautiful Thing.
