Salad Days by Dorothy Reynolds and Julian Slade. A review cum musical. First produced at the June 1954 at the Theatre Royal, Bristol then at the Vaudeville Theatre, London, August 5, 1954 (2283 perfs) and later at the Barbizon Plaza, New York - November 10, 1958 (80 perfs).

Performance History in South Africa

1956: First produced in South Africa in 1956 by Brian Brooke, directed by Michael Finlayson.

1962: Presented by the University of Cape Town's Speech and Drama Department at the Little Theatre in March, directed by Robert Mohr.

1979: Rhodes University Drama Department production directed by Michael Atkinson in September 1979, produced as part of the Rhodes University 75th anniversary celebrations.
