Tsonga author, playwright and translator. His earliest work was of a novelette entitled Murhandziwani (1942), and this was followed by a historical drama entitled Xaka (1954 the first published Tsonga drama - also published by APB in 1960 and 1983), He did Tsonga translations of Booker T. Washington's Up from slavery as Ku Hluvuka ku Huma Evuhlongeni (1953) and Shakespeare's Julius Caesar (1957). (It is also listed variously as Julius Casaer or Julius Ceasar by some authors.)
