(18**-19*) Actress, director, speech teacher and head of Speech and Drama at the College of Music, University of Cape Town , in the 1930s.

As actress appeared in Chekhov's The Seagull (Little Theatre, 1931), Old Maid (1939). ** As director she did Hippolytus (Little Theatre, 1931), Maeterlink's Sister Beatrice (Little Theatre, 1933)

As director she did The Pleasure Garden for the Speech-training department of the UCT at the Little Theatre in 1945; [FdV; MT]
