A play about miscegenation, the story of a doomed love between a “coloured” woman and a black man, and including consideration of issues of political intolerance in the non-European community.

Written in 1938, first performed at the Bantu Men’s Social Club October-November 1939, directed by Dhlomo, music by Salome Masoleng. It then went on tour. Unpublished, MS in Killey-Campbell Collection, University of Natal, Durban. (KCM 8267)
