Roses and Thorns, or Two Houses under One Roof is a three act comedy by Joseph Lunn (1784-1863)[1]

Performed at the Haymarket Theatre in 1825 and published by John Cumberland 1828.

Performance history in South Africa

1850: It may possibly have been presented as a farce called The Party Wall (no author being named) by James Lycett's Company of amateurs at the Drury Lane Theatre, Cape Town, on 6 September, with William Tell (Knowles) and music from Rossini's opera of William Tell, by the orchestra of the 73rd Regiment.
