EHRLICH, Rose. (18**-19**) A prominent speech teacher and amateur theatre director and organiser in Bloemfontein. [***???] Taught speech and elocution at Grey-College in Bloemfontein and among those who performed in her classical plays (Euripides’s Alcestis and Aristophanes’s The Clouds) was one Gert Borstlap (later renamed “André Huguenet”) (Fletcher, 1994; Du Toit, 1988; Binge, 1969, Huguenet, 1950) [TH, JH]

In 1939 she moved from Pretoria to Cape Town (The South African Theatre, Music and Dance 1(1), 1939.)
