Ronald Wallace was born on May 12, 1929 in South Africa.

He started out at the [[East Rand Theatre Club]], apparently also acting for the [[Johannesburg Repertory Society]] in ''[[Colombe]]'', then - ''circa'' 1954 - went to Britain, where he acted for six years ''inter alia'' working at the Memorial Theatre at Stratford for two years, doing  repertory work all over England and appearing in BBC radio plays and as an announcer for over a year.

Biography

Ronald Wallace was born on May 12, 1929 in South Africa.

He started out at the East Rand Theatre Club, apparently also acting for the Johannesburg Repertory Society in Colombe, then - circa 1954 - went to Britain, where he acted for six years inter alia working at the Memorial Theatre at Stratford for two years, doing repertory work all over England and appearing in BBC radio plays and as an announcer for over a year.

He returned to South Africa to continue his career, working for PACT as well as the Academy Theatre and the Alexander Theatre.

He died on August 1, 1986 in South Africa.

On his return to South Africa he acted in The Amorous Prawn for the Alexander Theatre in 1961, going on to build a substantial career as professional actor in South Africa, working for the newly founded Performing Arts Councils as well as other amateur and professional companies.
